OMERTIS / INFORMATION
Privacy Policy

About this policy
This policy describes data use by the Omertis website and iOS game. The website decision and crest previews remain in the open page and are not sent to a server. This website uses no advertising cookies or third-party visitor analytics. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the service. The support and account deletion forms send the name, email address, subject and message you enter to our server so that we can reply.
Game data
When you first open the game, an anonymous account is created with Firebase Authentication (Google). Your leader and family names, crest, language, progress, decision history and game balances are associated with your account. Usage and error events are processed to understand service reliability and game progression.
Diagnostics and advertising measurement
We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes, hangs and performance problems in the iOS app. We do not attach profile names, messages, screenshots or request bodies to these reports. Only with your iOS tracking permission, Meta (Facebook) receives selected app interactions, device identifiers and verified purchase events to measure our advertising. Permission is optional; the game remains usable if you decline. Events collected before permission are not replayed to Meta. You can change permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you connect to Game Center, completed chapter scores and achievements are shared with Apple and may appear under your Game Center profile. Game Center does not store your Omertis story or purchases. Deleting your Omertis family does not reset your Game Center record.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Payments take place through Apple StoreKit. Omertis does not receive your card details. Transaction identifiers and entitlements are processed to verify and restore purchases. RevenueCat is used for purchase and subscription analytics, not to perform checkout. Apple and RevenueCat process data relating to their services under their own privacy policies.
Notifications
With permission, your device push token, language, time zone and preferences are used for daily reminders and important game events. Change daily and event preferences in the game, or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and the Apple Push Notification service.
Retention and deletion
Account and game records are kept while your account exists. Analytics and notification job records are kept for up to 365 days and server logs for up to 90 days. Profile → Delete account deletes your player record, family, progress, device, notification and telemetry records and your Firebase sign-in account. Apple purchase records (transaction identifiers and entitlements) are kept so that purchases can be verified and restored; after deletion they are not linked to any family. Support messages are kept without the link to your account. Without access to the app, use the account deletion request page. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Your rights and contact
Use the privacy contact on the Support page to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. Never send passwords or card details. These service providers process data on our behalf: Google Firebase (sign-in and notifications), Apple (purchases), RevenueCat (purchase analytics), Resend (email) and Amazon Web Services (storage of game images). Service providers may process data outside your country.
